Augusta Amusements was created in 1931. The company owned and operated downtown theatres which included, most notably, the Miller, Modjeska, Imperial, Dreamland and Rialto along with several drive-ins. Their mission was to bring family entertainment to our community. Unfortunately, the company dissolved in 1967 after a thirty-six year stellar history.
The new Augusta Amusements intends to return to the company's roots, bringing live entertainment to Augusta's performance venues, exhibiting classic films, and supporting aspiring young entertainers in the attainment of their dreams.
Augusta's greatest days as an entertainment center are still ahead. Keep in touch with the progress of the new Augusta Amusements.
